Job Details

We are currently hiring for all positions in our Horizontal Directional Drilling Crew. No prior experience is necessary, but candidates must be punctual and hardworking. This is a local work opportunity with hourly pay ranging from $17 to $35. To be eligible, applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform drilling operations as instructed by the crew leader
• Assist in the setup and preparation of drilling equipment
• Maintain and repair drilling tools and equipment when necessary
• Inspect drilling sites to ensure safety and proper positioning
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines during drilling operations
• Assist in the completion of drilling projects on time and within budget
• Communicate effectively with crew members and project supervisors
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Document drilling activities and report any issues or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine setup requirements
• Monitor machine operations and inspect finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot machines in order to minimize downtime
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and hazards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep accurate records of production and inventory
• Continuously learn and develop new skills to stay up-to-date with advancements in the field
