We have partnered with a global player with deep engineering expertise, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the offshore industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to exciting projects in the FPSO sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and clarify project and client contractual requirements to form the contract basis.
• Support the Project Management Team with updates on process deliverable schedules.
• Prepare comprehensive Process Philosophies, including Control, Shutdown, Isolation, Sparing, P&ID, and Vent/Relief/Flare load calculation philosophies.
• Develop Process Simulation Heat and Mass Balances (H&M Sheets).
• Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Cause and Effect Diagrams, and Safe Charts.
• Conduct Equipment Sizing Calculations (e.g., Separators, Vessels, Storage Tanks), Line Sizing Calculations, Hydraulic Analysis, and Flare Network Design.
• Prepare and review technical queries, assisting the Lead Engineer in concluding Technical Queries with clients.
• Perform dynamic process studies, including Depressurization studies.
• Compile reports such as Process System Design Reports, Vent and Drain Reports, and Utility Summaries.
• Prepare Process Datasheets for Mechanical Equipment and Instruments.
• Coordinate with various disciplinary departments to ensure seamless process input integration.
• Conduct interdisciplinary checks and provide input for engineering deliverables like Mechanical Equipment Lists (MEL), Electrical Load Lists, and more.
• Review vendor documents and provide feedback to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Update Third Party Specialist studies and actively participate in related workshops.
• Assist the Lead Engineer in managing interfaces with hull and marine systems.
• Contribute to Operating, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning manuals.
• Attend project meetings to address engineering issues, clarify progress, and follow up on action items.
• Ensure all client comments are addressed and inform the Project Management and Commercial teams of trends or potential change orders.
• Support project process engineering from kick-start through to Detailed Engineering, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning phases.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain process design data to support feasibility studies and tender document preparation.
• Assemble process design submittal manuals, including drawings, documents, and calculations.
• Liaise with package engineers for updated information and maintain the process design filing system.
• Prepare training manuals for on-site contractor and customer training.
• Monitor changes made by junior team members and compile lessons learned during project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of design experience in the offshore industry, specifically in the FPSO sector.
• Experience in FEED and EPC engineering is highly desirable.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
