Job Summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking an experienced Director of Dining Services to lead food service operations in an acute care setting in Gulfport, MS. This role involves overseeing all foodservice activities, managing staff, ensuring quality and safety standards, and maintaining client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage salaried managers and hourly staff in the Food Service Department
• Oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; handle performance appraisals and disciplinary actions
• Prepare and manage the annual budget
• Utilize company systems for reporting such as inventory, payroll, and production records
• Ensure food preparation and service adhere to company standards, sanitation, and safety guidelines (HACCP, OSHA)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of related experience
• Five to seven years of foodservice management experience, including inventory and purchasing control
• Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Previous P&L or contract-managed service experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and financial skills
• ServSafe Certification required
