Position Summary

In the esteemed position of CEO at NOLA Gold Rugby, you will not only occupy a pivotal role but also bear the responsibility of shaping the trajectory of our organization. Directly accountable to our Board of Directors, you will lead strategic initiatives aimed at propelling NOLA Gold Rugby to success both on and off the field. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing our status as a premier sports entity, delivering tangible returns to shareholders, and strengthening our community ties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic goals in collaboration with the Board.
• Work closely with the Board Chair to set the agenda for annual meetings.
• Develop and execute the annual business plan and budget, ensuring effective implementation.
• Implement governance and operational frameworks to support growth.
• Provide leadership and foster a culture of excellence within our team.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, including MLR, USA Rugby, and sponsors.
• Innovate in commercial activities to create new revenue streams.
• Support the rugby program in recruiting and developing top talent.
• Manage stadium operations to provide an optimal home for rugby.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven leadership experience as a Chief Executive or Senior Executive in sports or entertainment industries.
• Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for high-performance sports, especially rugby.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field.
