Description:

The Major Market Sales Executive, Upmarket, identifies potential clients with 250+ employees through prospecting activities. They consult with potential clients to identify Paycor products and services that address their business challenges and sell those solutions within assigned territories. This role requires self-generation of leads via prospecting, telemarketing, CRM management, and networking. The Executive is an expert in large, complex deals, our sales process, and product offerings, responsible for accurate sales forecasting and achieving monthly and annual quotas. They are a self-starter committed to meeting sales targets and maintaining strong client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients in the higher employee band and complex midmarket space through prospecting, referrals, and leveraging tools.
  • Consult with potential clients to determine optimal solutions for their business challenges.
  • Present Paycor products and services to potential clients via in-person and phone meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Own accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Analyze client practices to identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales activity and target goals.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients, including paperwork and initial payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with Client Services to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Record all sales activities in SFDC promptly.
  • Support new client implementation and transition with Client Services and Implementation teams.
  • Complete reports and CRM updates regularly.
  • Assist in developing less experienced Sales Executives when needed.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and attendance, maintaining ethical business practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of consultative, B2B sales with proven success.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Four-year business degree.
