The Security Manager will operate within legal constraints and contract agency stipulations in order to maintain the security of the facility and safety of all onsite personnel.Major Duties IncludeSupervise the day to day security operations of a facilityCheck I.D.'s of all guest entering the premises, with specific focus on the age limit of all guest after 9pmBuild, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employeesEnsure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are metHandle any escalated security issues or emergency situations promptly and appropriatelyWork with on-site detail police to handle any situation that may arise and ensure saftey of guest and staffFill out insident reports for any and all insidents that may occur during your shiftRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 4 years of security/door experience (prior military/police experience highly desirable)Ability to conduct Risk AssessmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in basic computer skillsAbility to quickly learn the layout of the facility, function rooms, and some knowledge of the city and surrounding areasAbility to pass a background check and drug screenValid driver's license with no suspensions or revocations within the past 7 yearsAbility to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shiftAbility to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distancesMust have the ability to communicate in EnglishMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysStrong time management experience required with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyOutstanding interpersonal and communications skills requiredAbility to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independentlyAbility to manage multiple and simultaneous priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basisSeniority level Seniority level Entry levelEmployment type Employment type Full-timeJob function Job function Other, Information Technology, and ManagementIndustries RestaurantsReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Barcadia Bar & Grill by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Security Professional” roles.
