Our client, a specialty industrial manufacturer, is seeking a Project Manager to lead the design, coordination, and installation of capital equipment and automated and material handling systems. This role oversees projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met. A direct hire position and remote work option with frequent travel to customer sites and occasionally to the company's headquarters located in the Greater New Orleans area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project execution for sling systems, overhead rail, cart handling, and related material handling solutions
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, service teams, and subcontractors to align project goals
• Serve as the main customer contact throughout each project
• Oversee layouts, schedules, budgets, and on-site logistics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in industrial engineering or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience with industrial or automated systems
• Strong mechanical and systems knowledge (e.g., conveyors, pneumatic/slings, plant layouts)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; PM software a plus
