Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Logistics Department
Location: Conhagen, 1020 Industry Rd, Kenner, LA 70062
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
Join Conhagen's fast-paced Logistics team and help keep the industrial world moving. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll manage incoming and outgoing shipments, support inventory control, and collaborate across departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment, from a climate-controlled shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify accuracy and update inventory records
• Prepare outgoing shipments: build crates & skids, package securely, label, and coordinate with carriers
• Maintain organized warehouse inventory and support regular counts
• Work closely with tool room, drivers, shop personnel and project managers to streamline operations
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks; follow all safety protocols
• Manage shipping documentation including bills of lading and customs forms

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
• Familiarity with inventory software; basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Detail-oriented and team-minded
• Carpentry experience
• Valid driver's license
