Security Guard

This role is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and focuses on the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at assigned sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safeguard the interests of the client while ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
• Observe and report any signs of crime or disorder and respond to disturbances.
• Prepare daily reports as instructed and submit them to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct patrols as outlined in post orders.
• Monitor and control access to the property following post orders.
• Alert the appropriate authorities in emergencies as per post order guidelines.
• Document and report any violations of company policy and local or federal laws as per the Employee Handbook.

Additional Duties:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned based on the client's requirements and specific post demands.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain a safe environment for officers, clients, vendors, and employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing tactfully with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Graduate or possess a GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a clean criminal background.
• Ability to obtain necessary state-required licensing.
• Capability to fulfill the job duties effectively.
