Ochsner Health - - Responsibilities: Fills medication orders, charges/credits all medication, stocks, delivers, and inspects assigned areas.; Prepares IV admixtures and other extemporaneous compounds and enters TPN orders into the computer system.; Maintains stock in all assigned areas including the IV room and other pharmacy areas.; Reviews physician's orders and enters patient medication orders into the pharmacy order entry system.; Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
