The role involves managing a team of fuelers, coordinating fueling schedules, monitoring fuel inventory, and maintaining equipment. You will also be responsible for training staff, conducting safety inspections, and addressing any issues that arise during fueling operations. Strong leadership, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential to ensure efficient and safe fueling of aircraft.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for fuel trucks, fuel farm, tugs, towing equipment, and other related fuel service equipmentResponsible for supervision of fueling staffSafely and efficiently conduct fueling operationsMaintain accurate records of fueling transactionsPerform daily quality control inspections on equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionalityUtilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircraftsEnsure accurate loading and balancing of fuelConduct defueling procedures as requiredExhibit consistent and dependable attendanceWork outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weatherResponsible for fueling various Ground Service Equipment such as Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt LoadersExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experienceMust have and maintain a valid Driver's License (CDL and Hazmat endorsement strongly desired but not required)Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
